FirePath+ App Privacy Policy

Preface

FirePath+ takes your privacy seriously while using the FirePath+ app (the "App"). This Privacy Policy describes the information collected during your use of the App and how it is used, especially in light of local FIRE planning data, manual asset records, monthly check-ins, Supabase market-data caching, encrypted backup and restore, local reminders, and optional Google Mobile Ads.

Information We Collect

Information Stored Locally

The following information remains on your device unless you explicitly export or share it:

• FIRE assumptions: monthly income, spending, investment amount, expected return, inflation, target retirement year, exchange-rate assumptions, language, and currency settings
• Manual asset records: asset type, ticker/name, value, quantity, purchase price, current price, currency, dates, interest rate, and memo fields you enter
• Monthly check-ins: spending, new investment, net worth snapshot, notes, and timeline-related values
• Reminder settings: whether the daily local reminder is enabled and the reminder time
• Backup files: encrypted backup files created only when you choose to export data

Core FirePath+ store data is encrypted locally using a device-protected key stored through iOS Keychain or Android encrypted storage.

Exported backup files are encrypted with the backup password you set during export. FirePath+ cannot recover this password.

Information Sent to Service Providers

When you request exchange rates or US stock/ETF prices, the App calls the FirePath+ Supabase Edge Function. Supabase may receive:

• Requested currency pairs such as USD/KRW
• Requested US stock or ETF symbols such as AAPL or VOO
• Limited technical metadata such as request timing, user-agent, and request logs needed to diagnose failures and protect third-party API quotas

The Edge Function may fetch exchange-rate data from Frankfurter and US stock quote data from Finnhub, then cache those public market-data results in Supabase.
